Description

The Centre des Monuments Nationaux has collaborated with the artist himself to create a photograph featuring the frozen ramp of the Villa Savoye. Limited edition prints, numbered and signed by Philippe Biancotto. The artist appropriated Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye to showcase its exceptional architecture and furniture during the "Ready-Melts" exhibition. Through his Pop homage and playful nod to the Ready-mades, the "Ready-Melts" exhibition subverts manufactured products that have reached iconic status, turning them into perishable ice sculptures.
