A monument in peril rescued. Maurice Fenaille, a wealthy industrialist and patron of the arts, bought the property in ruins in the early 20th century. He restored the sculpted façade working with Rodin's disciples and decorated the rooms on the lower floor with a rich collection of furniture and hangings.
