Mont-Dauphin: A Stronghold in the Heart of the Alps

Album dedicated to this masterpiece by Vauban, a key site in military architecture. Conceived in response to the 1692 attack orchestrated by Victor-Amédée II, then Duke of Savoy, this architectural work, recognized by UNESCO in 2008, was only completed in the 19th century. Renowned for its exceptional framework, the Rochambeau barracks hosts 'The Battle of Little Bighorn' by sculptor Ousmane Sow.
