This collection will highlight a rich diversity of works spanning over 6,000 years. Celebrating the unifying power of art across cultures, the exhibition features masterpieces such as the head of a royal figure from ancient Egypt sculpted in red jasper (1475-1292 BC), a Chinese bronze sculpture of a seated bear from the Han dynasty (206 BC - 25 AD), a Maya pendant in the shape of a mask (200-600 AD), Emperor Jahângîr's jade cup (1569-1627), and a chalcedony and vermeil bust of Emperor Hadrian (Southern Italy, circa 1240).
