The Hôtel de la Marine, which opened its doors for the first time in June 2021, will house the treasures of the Al Thani Collection, one of the most prestigious in the world. Thanks to the exceptional patronage of the Al Thani Collection Foundation, the former Royal Furniture Storehouse will resume its centuries-old role as an exhibition space, showcasing the historical riches of this unique collection. The Tsuyoshi Tane Architects workshop was selected to design the new exhibition spaces within the monument. This volume from the "Regards..." collection presents a selection of the finest works from the Collection. Comprising a wide range of artworks representing numerous civilizations from antiquity to the present day, it had never before been exhibited to the general public in all its diversity, celebrating the creativity and universal power of art throughout the ages. This primarily illustrated work invites both curious readers and informed enthusiasts to discover and contemplate these objects.
